Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated Business Development Intern to join our growing team in an office-based role. The successful candidate will be responsible for generating high-quality leads for our digital services through proactive outreach strategies, reporting directly to the Business Development Manager.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Generation & Prospecting
- Generate high-quality leads through systematic research and outreach
- Identify potential clients across various industries who could benefit from our digital services
- Build and maintain comprehensive prospect databases
- Qualify leads based on predetermined criteria and business requirements
Cold Outreach Activities
- Conduct cold calling campaigns to engage potential clients
- Execute strategic cold email campaigns with personalized messaging
- Follow up consistently with prospects through multiple touchpoints
- Schedule appointments and demos for the Business Development Manager
Market Research & Analysis
- Research target industries and identify key decision-makers
- Analyze competitor activities and market trends
- Maintain updated knowledge of our service offerings:
- Social Media Management
- Branding & Brand Strategy
- Performance Marketing (PPC, Paid Social)
- Ecommerce Website Development
- Real Estate Marketing & Lead Generation
- Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
Administrative Support
- Maintain accurate records in CRM systems
- Prepare lead reports and performance metrics
- Support the Business Development Manager with administrative tasks
- Coordinate meeting schedules and follow-up activities
Learning & Development
- Participate in training sessions on digital marketing services
- Learn sales techniques and lead qualification processes
- Develop understanding of client needs and pain points
- Grow knowledge of the digital marketing industry
Required Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Currently pursuing or recently completed Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field
- Fresh graduates or students in final year are encouraged to apply
- Previous internship experience in sales or marketing is a plus
Skills & Competencies
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Comfortable with cold calling and phone-based conversations
- Strong research and analytical abilities
- Basic understanding of digital marketing concepts
- Proficiency in MS Office suite and email platforms
- Self-motivated with strong organizational skills
- Ability to handle rejection and maintain persistence
