Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant with a strong background in the travel industry to manage end-to-end accounting operations. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance, accuracy, and timeliness across financial functions, while also playing a pivotal role in supporting business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage Accounts Receivable and Payable operations ensuring accuracy and timely execution.
  • Perform bank reconciliations and ledger reconciliations on a regular basis.
  • Handle TDS finalization and ensure timely payments and filings.
  • Ensure accurate and timely GST filings and maintain all necessary documentation.
  • Maintain and update financial records using Tally ERP and MS Excel.
  • Oversee the entire accounting cycle, from journal entries to finalization of accounts.
  • Prepare and submit Statements of Account (SOA); ensure timely collections from clients.
  • Manage supplier/vendor payments and maintain strong working relationships with vendors.
  • Handle all aspects of banking operations, including fund transfers and reconciliations.
  • Prepare financial statements and assist with monthly/quarterly financial reporting.
  • Generate MIS reports and present financial summaries to management.
  • Liaise with internal teams, clients, and auditors on financial matters.
  • Provide support and guidance to junior accounting staff, if required.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 36 years of hands-on accounting experience, preferably in the travel industry.
  • Strong working knowledge of Tally ERP and MS Excel.
  • Solid understanding of Accounts Receivable/Payable, Reconciliation, TDS, and GST.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and deadline-driven.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

  • Candidates with prior experience in the travel/tourism industry will be highly preferred.
  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities with a proactive and problem-solving mindset
