Role Overview:

We are seeking a meticulous and motivated Senior Accounts Executive to support our accounting operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurate daily transaction processing, timely reconciliations, month-end and year-end closings, tax-related preparations, and various accounting projects. This role requires strong attention to detail, good organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced remote environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enter daily sales and purchase invoices accurately into the accounting system.
  • Perform daily bank and deposit reconciliations.
  • Reconcile supplier and customer accounts on a regular basis.
  • Support and perform month-end close activities.
  • Prepare and review month-end journal entries with appropriate documentation.
  • Conduct monthly balance sheet reconciliations by deadlines and resolve any unreconciled items promptly.
  • Prepare working papers for tax returns, including Quarterly/Monthly VAT, HST, GST, and sales tax returns.
  • Assist in preparing year-end audit working papers for auditors.
  • Participate in special projects as assigned by management.
  • Prepare variance analysis reports with detailed commentary.
  • Manage intercompany transactions and reconciliations.
  • Support payroll processing activities.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of professional accounting experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks within tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Working Schedule:

  • Working Days: Monday to Saturday
  • Timings: 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM
