A Restaurant Manager oversees daily operations, including managing staff, schedules, inventory, and finances to ensure customer satisfaction and profitability. Key responsibilities include hiring, training, and supervising employees, maintaining food safety and quality, controlling costs, managing customer service, ensuring regulatory compliance, and implementing marketing strategies to meet sales goals and enhance the restaurant's reputation. Key Responsibilities

  • Operations Management:Supervise all daily restaurant operations, coordinating both front-of-house and back-of-house functions to ensure a smooth workflow.
  • Staff Management:Recruit, hire, train, and supervise restaurant staff, including creating work schedules and evaluating performance to ensure high service standards.
  • Customer Service:Drive customer satisfaction by providing exceptional service, addressing complaints, and fostering positive customer relationships.
  • Inventory & Procurement:Monitor inventory levels, order food, beverages, and supplies within budget, and manage vendor relationships.
  • Financial Management:Control operational costs, identify areas for waste reduction, track sales and expenses, and help achieve revenue objectives.
  • Health & Safety:Ensure strict adherence to food safety, sanitation, and other health and safety regulations to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Marketing & Sales:Implement marketing strategies to attract customers, promote the restaurant's brand, and increase sales.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Leadership:Strong leadership skills to guide and motivate a team.
  • Communication:Excellent communication skills for interacting with customers, staff, and vendors.
  • Problem-Solving:Ability to effectively address customer complaints and resolve operational issues.
  • Attention to Detail:Meticulous attention to detail in all aspects of restaurant operations.
  • Industry Experience:Extensive experience in the food and beverage service industry is often required.
  • Food Handler Certification:A food handler's certificate is frequently a mandatory requirement.

Job Type: Full-time
