Business Development Executive – EdTech

Location: Madurai

Experience: 2–3 years of Business Development Experience in EdTech

Employment Type: Full-time

What you'll be doing

  • Identify and prospect potential clients in the EdTech sector (schools, universities, training institutes, and corporate L&D teams).
  • Drive lead generation using advanced tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Clay, , Apify, and other automation platforms.
  • Execute multi-channel outreach strategies including cold calling, cold emailing, and LinkedIn campaigns.
  • Leverage automation tools to streamline outreach, follow-ups, and engagement workflows.
  • Qualify leads, nurture prospects, and set up high-quality meetings/demos for the sales team.
  • Maintain a strong pipeline of opportunities and update CRM systems accurately.
  • Optimize campaigns and outreach messaging.

What we expect

  • 2–3 years of proven experience in business development or lead generation, preferably in the EdTech / SaaS / Technology sector.
  • Hands-on experience with automation tools for outreach and lead management (e.g., HubSpot, Apollo, Lemlist, ).
  • Strong expertise in LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Clay, , Apify, and similar prospecting/lead generation tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage decision-makers via calls, emails, and LinkedIn.
  • Strong analytical and research skills to identify quality leads.
  • Track record of achieving or exceeding lead generation and outreach targets.
  • Ability to work independently with a data-driven and results-oriented approach.

Preferred Skills

  • Prior experience in the EdTech or B2B SaaS sales domain.
  • Knowledge of email deliverability and best practices for cold outreach.
  • Creative mindset for writing personalized outreach messages.
