Role : Director – Program Management
Overview:
The Director of Program Management is a strategic leadership role responsible for driving enterprise-wide initiatives, including complex multi-cloud migration programs, ensuring alignment with business objectives, and fostering operational excellence across the organization. This role leads the Project Management Office (PMO), overseeing large-scale programs, optimizing delivery frameworks, and cultivating a high-performing, engaged team.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Project Leadership
- Lead cross-functional programs and transformation initiatives from strategy to execution, including multi-cloud migration efforts across AWS, Azure and GCP platforms.
- Ensure alignment with organizational goals, managing scope, timelines, budgets, risks, and change.
- Serve as a strategic advisor to senior leadership, facilitating governance and stakeholder alignment.
Portfolio & Process Optimization
- Enhance project delivery using Agile, , and Waterfall methodologies.
- Promote adoption of modern tools (e.g., Jira, Power BI) for improved transparency and performance.
- Drive standardization and optimization of cloud migration processes, ensuring scalability, security, and compliance across platforms.
Organizational Leadership & Talent Development
- Build and lead a geographically distributed team of project and program managers.
- Define team strategy, set performance objectives, and foster a culture of excellence.
- Drive capability building through coaching, training, and career development.
- Champion an inclusive and collaborative team culture with strong employee engagement.
Qualifications
- 20+ years of progressive experience in project/program management, including 5+ years in leadership.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Proven success in leading complex, enterprise-wide initiatives in matrixed environments.
- Expertise in Agile, , and Waterfall methodologies.
- Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and executive collaboration skills.
- Hands-on experience managing multi-cloud migration programs, including planning, execution, and post-migration optimization.
Preferred Certifications
- PMP or equivalent.
- Agile certifications (SAFe, CSM, PMI-ACP).
- Experience with advanced reporting and analytics platforms.
- Demonstrated success in transformation and change management.
