Program Manager

We're looking for a Program Manager to lead and inspire teams, implementing efficient processes and innovative solutions to maximize team productivity. You'll manage program scope through all lifecycle phases, building detailed schedules and workback plans to ensure on-time delivery. This role involves monitoring projects from initiation to completion, keeping stakeholders on track, and reporting progress to executive audiences. You'll proactively manage risks and dependencies across various cross-functional teams, including product, engineering, and marketing. The ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic environment, possesses strong attention to detail, and excels at simplifying complex challenges to achieve desired outcomes.

This position is an individual contributor role reporting to Director, Technical Program Management.

Responsibility

• Work with development teams to determine realistic schedules to launch new products and features
• Oversee end-to-end program execution across teams / groups, including risk management, communication, issue/conflict resolution and dependency management
• Coach teams on agile practices when necessary including stepping in as Scrum Master while training the teams
• Facilitate operational tasks to keep key business processes running smoothly
• Keep the executive and business teams updated on project timelines and results
• Partner with end-to-end implementation teams to define launch plans to identify and mitigate gaps, risks, dependencies
• Define communication plans for programs 
• Lead communication within the team, across Product Development, and across Docusign
• Communicate schedules, dependencies, issues, and risks across teams and to stakeholders
• Ensure adherence to governance processes and visibility to release management 
• Identify and track risks to delivery and overall program schedule
• Evaluate existing processes and procedures. Make recommendations and drive process improvement and adoption of best practices to improve efficiency and effectiveness
• Mange teams across disciplines and across geographies 
• Some travel required (~10%)

Hybrid: Employee divides their time between in-office and remote work. Access to an office location is required. (Frequency: Minimum 2 days per week; may vary by team but will be weekly in-office expectation)

Basic 

• 5+ years leading complex, cross-functional, global programs for SaaS based products
• Proficient using Google suite, Project organization tools, Atlassian Toolset: Jira, Confluence, Portfolio/Advanced Reporting, etc.

Preferred 

• Ability to develop clear program strategies and high-level program plans
• Excellent written, verbal communication, and interpersonal skills
• Equally confident in working with executive team members as working with implementation teams
• Skilled at dealing with ambiguity in a rapidly growing and changing environment
• Experience in companies in both small and large scale software development organizations
• Strong business acumen and technical background, with the ability to quickly understand and communicate technical concepts and challenges across wide-ranging audiences
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and expectations
• Ability to successfully collaborate with multiple functions across the organization
• Experience building strong cross-team relationships and partnerships
