Compliance Officer

Job Title: Compliance & Documentation – Quality & Certifications

About the Role

We are looking for a Compliance & Documentation who has strong experience in SOP compliance, documentation management, and certification processes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing, updating, and maintaining all documents related to regulatory approvals, sustainability certifications, and quality audits required for our recycling and manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, update, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) across departments to ensure compliance.
• Manage and organise all compliance documentation in line with company and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare and coordinate documents for ISO audits including:
• ISO 9001
• ISO 14001
• ISO 45001
• Handle documentation for sustainability and recycling certifications such as:
• RecyClass
• GRS (Global Recycled Standard)
• Recycled 100
• ISCC
• Prepare and submit documentation for compliance schemes like:
• CPCB – EPR
• SPCB – Air & Water permissions
• REACH
• SMETA / Sedex
• Ensure timely renewals, follow-ups, and closure of non-conformities during audits.
• Coordinate with internal teams (production, administration, HR, EHS, procurement, etc.) for data collection and documentation accuracy.
• Maintain a central repository of all compliance certificates and approvals.
• Support management in new certification applications and ongoing documentation "In Process" stages.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5 years of experience in documentation, compliance, or quality management.
• Hands-on experience with ISO standards, audit preparation, and non-conformity closure.
• Knowledge of recycled polymer industry compliance (preferred).
• Familiarity with RecyClass, GRS, ISCC, SMETA Sedex, CPCB EPR, and similar frameworks.
• Strong skills in document drafting, proofreading, formatting, and file management.
• Ability to independently handle certification applications and liaison with auditors and authorities.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.

Qualification

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, Environment, or any relevant field.
• Additional certifications in QA/QC, ISO lead auditor training, or ESG compliance will be an added advantage.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹279, ₹1,009,324.33 per year
