Role Description

This is a full-time role for a Senior Production Manager – (FRP Tanks / Pipe Lines) at VBK FIBREO TECH INDUSTRIES. This on-site role is located in Gummidipoondi. The Senior Production Manager will be responsible for overseeing the production process, coordinating with various departments to ensure timely delivery of products, managing production schedules, and ensuring that production targets are met. The role involves quality control, cost management, and maintaining safety standards while adhering to the company's policies and procedures.

Qualifications

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Educational Qualification:
  • Bachelor's Degree in
    Engineering, Manufacturing, Mechanical, Chemical, or related field
    .

(Diploma holders with substantial experience in FRP manufacturing may also be considered.)

  • In-depth knowledge of
    FRP (Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic) manufacturing processes
    , including
    Hand Lay-Up, Filament Winding, SMC Process and Vacuum Infusion
    .
  • Understanding of
    material selection, resin systems, reinforcements, and curing methods.

Production & Project Management:

  • Proficiency in
    production planning, scheduling, and resource allocation
    .
  • Ability to manage
    end-to-end project execution
    from design through fabrication, testing, and dispatch.
  • Experience with
    quality control systems
    ,
    cost optimization
    , and
    process improvement
    initiatives.
  • Knowledge of
    HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment)
    standards and compliance procedures.

Leadership & Communication:

  • Proven skills in
    team leadership, manpower coordination
    , and
    interdepartmental communication
    .
  • Ability to
    motivate production teams
    , ensure productivity, and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.

Additional Requirements:

  • Ability to
    work independently
    and handle
    multiple tasks or projects simultaneously

  • Prior experience in
    FRP product manufacturing
    (tanks, scrubbers, ducts, vessels, etc.) will be considered a
    strong advantage
    .
  • Good command of
    MS Office, project management tools, and production documentation systems
    .
