Key Responsibilities

  • Program Leadership & Strategy
  • Define and execute the ITAM vision, mission, and roadmap, aligned with Hertzs digital transformation goals 1.
  • Govern all ITAM processes including inventory, procurement, contract management, asset disposal, and policy enforcement 2 3.
  • Lead the transition from foundational ITAM practices to a fully mature managed service model 2.
  • ServiceNow HAM/SAM Expertise
  • Oversee the implementation and optimization of ServiceNow HAM and SAM Pro modules 2 4.
  • Normalize CMDB data and align asset records with ServiceNow Content Library standards 1.
  • Manage integrations with vendor portals (e.g., Cisco, VMware, Microsoft) and automate workflows for lifecycle, approvals, renewals, and compliance 2.
  • Software Asset Management (SAM)
  • Ensure license compliance, audit readiness, and cost optimization across top publishers (Oracle, IBM, Microsoft, Adobe) 5.
  • Implement software normalization and re-harvesting strategies to eliminate redundancies and reduce spend 1.
  • Hardware Asset Management (HAM)
  • Govern the full lifecycle of hardware assets, including acquisition, maintenance, and disposal 4.
  • Enhance asset recovery and reuse processes to reduce capital expenditures and eliminate shadow IT 2.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partner with Finance, Procurement, Security, and IT Operations to align ITAM goals with enterprise objectives 2 3.
  • Coordinate with HR and Operations for onboarding/offboarding feeds to automate asset recovery 5.
  • Reporting & Analytics
  • Deliver dashboards and reports on asset utilization, compliance, and cost savings using ServiceNow and Tableau 4.
  • Lead quarterly business reviews and maintain operational runbooks 2.
