Requirements

Experience / skills:

• In - depth, multi-year professional experience in the area of Informatica Power Center, Informatica Power Exchange, Informatica MDM and Informatica Data quality.
• Experience in installations of Informatica Tools such as Power Center, Power Exchange, Data Quality and Master Data Management with MS SQL Server
• In depth, multiy year professional experience of system administration, e.g., Windows Admin Skills and relational databases, e.g. MS SQL Server
• Knowledge on administrator console for Informatica Powercenter and Informatica data quality
• Knowledge of server infrastructure
• Experience with applications on different platforms (SQL,jboss,soapUI)
• Knowledge of deployment of code to higher environment and change management processes
• Knowledge of scripting languages, for eg Powershell or windows scripting
• Fluent in written and spoken English

Tasks: -

General Admin tasks:

• System optimisation, system maintenance and system support, system performance monitor, alarm monitoring incase of failure of jobs.
• Deployment of codes from development environment to higher environment via TFS or github  t rouble-free operation of all Informatica domains in all environments (DEV, UAT, Prod)
• Monitor daily operational activities in all environments (job completion status, rejections and errors)
• Troubleshoot Infrastructure issues in all environments that impacts daily business process
• Coordinate with Development Team, Testing Team, Business to fix Production Incidents and Problems
• Analysis and research of product Incidents or complex error situations, if necessary with the involvement of the manufacturer
• On - demand performance tuning based on user requirement.
• Participation in the ITIL process
• Recognition of errors, problems and optimization potential and active participation in improvement processes
• Ensuring system integrity and security through log analysis and patch management
• Develop technical documentation for installation and configuration
• Compliance with Informatica Best Practice Guidelines
• Compliance with ITERGO security and data protection requirements.  and all other sensible operational tasks not specifically listed

PowerCenter tasks:

• Administrative tasks related to Informatica powercenter like monitoring the domains, repositories etc , monitoring of workflows, finding the root cause incase of failures.
• Overall monitoring of the platform in which the informatica jobs are run, scheduling of the jobs as per the requirement
• Troubleshoot end to end of the jobs which comprises of workflows, transformations, operating systems, applications, app servers, networks etc
• Planning, installation, configuration of Informatica powercenter as and when required.
• Basic technical consulting for Informatica projects such as the introduction of Informatica systems, upgrades with database migration, etc
• Security Access Management for Informatica PowerCenter
• PowerCenter Repository and Folder Management
• Maintain technical documentation including operations run books, user guides, and standard operating procedures
• Knowledge of Power Center Client tools

PowerExchange tasks:

• Create connections in Power Exchange so that data can be read from source which is db2 and oracle mainframe tables
• Planning, installation, configuration of Informatica Power Exchange as and when required.
• Install, upgrade, configure and administer Informatica Power Exchange
• Patch Installation/Upgrade to latest Informatica Hot Fixes (HF) and Emergency Bug Fixes (EBF)
• Knowledge of tool Power Exchange Navigator
• Knowledge of different possibilities to read data via Power Exchange (batch, RT)
• Knowledge of importing different source systems
• Installation of Power Exchange client and Power Exchange software on source system
• Knowledge of the Power Exchange config files and how to parameterize it
• Knowledge of registration process of new source tables

Informatica MDM tasks:

• Management of MDM platform architecture, implementation, high availability, upgrade and maintainance
• Planning, installation, configuration of Informatica MDM as and when required.
• Application maintenance and installation of other tools which is used along with MDM such as jboss, SoapUI etc
• Knowledge of Hub Console, IDD, e360, process server and ActiveVOS
• Knowledge of SIF Services and REST services.
• Knowledge of Match & merge functionality in Informatica MDM and generation of golden record.
• Security Access Management for Informatica MDM

Informatica Data Quality tasks:

• Administrative tasks related to Informatica data quality like monitoring the domains, repositories etc , monitoring of workflows, finding the root cause incase of failures.
• Troubleshoot end to end informatica data quality workflows, deployment of the application and scheduling it
• Planning, installation, configuration of Informatica data quality as and when required.
• Using DQ Analyst and DQ Developer
• Setup of user und environments (repositories, etc)
• Installation of infa content
• Setup of connections to data sources (relational / not relational, structured / unstructured data)
• Setup of address doctor
• High Availability, Backup, Recovery strategy
