About the Role

We are hiring a Senior Manager – Procurement (Software & IT Services)
to lead end-to-end sourcing, vendor management, and contract negotiations for software, IT infrastructure, and technology services. The role demands a strong understanding of IT procurement, software licensing, and global vendor management within a software services environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead procurement activities for software licenses, cloud services, IT hardware, and professional services.
  • Build and manage vendor relationships to ensure value delivery, service quality, and compliance.
  • Develop sourcing strategies aligned with business and technology objectives.
  • Negotiate contracts, SLAs, and licensing agreements with global vendors.
  • Collaborate with IT, Finance, and Legal teams for commercial and policy alignment.
  • Drive cost optimization and process improvement initiatives.
  • Oversee procurement governance, risk management, and audit compliance.
  • Mentor and guide junior team members in procurement best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or Supply Chain (MBA preferred).
  • 10–15 years of procurement experience in software services or IT organizations.
  • Proven expertise in software and IT services procurement, vendor management, and contract negotiation.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP/procurement systems (SAP Ariba, Oracle, Coupa, etc.).
  • Strong knowledge of software licensing (Microsoft, SAP, Oracle, AWS, Adobe, etc.).
  • Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple stakeholders.

Preferred Skills

  • Exposure to global sourcing and offshore vendor ecosystems.
  • Certification in procurement or supply chain (CIPS, ISM, CPSM) is a plus.
  • Understanding of cloud procurement models and IT compliance frameworks.
