Job Description:

Procurement Strategy:

Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure the timely and cost-effective supply of materials and services.

Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and assess their capabilities and reliability.

Vendor Management:

Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers and subcontractors.

Negotiate terms and conditions, pricing, and contracts with vendors.

Evaluate supplier performance and manage supplier audits to ensure compliance with quality and delivery standards.

Inventory Management:

Monitor inventory levels to ensure sufficient stock of critical materials.

Implement inventory control systems to optimize stock levels and reduce waste.

Cost Management:

Analyze and manage procurement budgets and expenditures.

Identify opportunities for cost savings and implement cost reduction initiatives.

Quality Assurance:

Ensure that all purchased materials meet the required quality standards and specifications.

Coordinate with the quality control team to address any issues related to material quality.

Compliance and Documentation:

Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards.

Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, contracts, and supplier information.

Project Coordination:

Collaborate with project managers and engineering teams to understand material requirements for various projects.

Plan and schedule material deliveries to align with project timelines and milestones.

Risk Management:

Identify potential risks in the supply chain and develop mitigation strategies.

Address any disruptions in the supply chain promptly to minimize impact on project timelines
