Assistant Manager

Role Summary:
This role is responsible for managing hotel selection, contracting, and operational coordination for cockpit crew across global and domestic destinations. The candidate will ensure equitable hotel allocation aligned with crew rosters, company policies, and operational readiness.
Key Responsibilities:
Hotel Contracting & Selection
Identify and finalize hotels for cockpit crew across domestic & international stations.
- Negotiate contracts ensuring safety, comfort, cost-effectiveness, and compliance with contracting standards.
Maintain vendor relationships and service-level agreements.
Roster-Based Hotel Allocation
Allocate hotels based on cockpit crew rosters in coordination with the rostering team.
- Ensure fair business distribution among hotels as per policy.
Monitor usage trends and optimize allocations.
Operational Coordination
Liaise with the Operations Control Center (OCC) for day-to-day crew accommodation needs.
- Coordinate with the Flight Operations team to gather feedback and resolve escalations.
Ensure readiness for new station launches and support irregular operations (IROPs).
Compliance & Reporting
Ensure adherence to contracting integrity and audit protocols.
- Maintain documentation and generate reports on hotel usage, crew satisfaction, and cost metrics.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Graduate/Postgraduate in Hospitality, Business Administration, or related field.
- 5-7 years of experience in crew accommodation, travel desk, or hospitality contracting.
- Airline or aviation experience preferred.
Skills Required:
- Strong interpersonal and vendor management skills.
- Fluent in English; hotel industry background is a plus.
- Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and hotel management systems.
- Ability to manage global stakeholders and work under pressure.
