Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Legal Associate based in Mumbai. The Legal Associate will be responsible for drafting, reviewing, and preparing legal documents, conducting legal research, providing advice on legal matters, and supporting compliance with applicable laws and regulations. The role involves working collaboratively across teams, analyzing legal issues, and ensuring the organization's legal interests are effectively managed.

Qualifications

  • Strong foundation in Law and expertise in handling Legal Issues
  • Proficiency in Legal Document Preparation, including contract drafting and agreement reviews
  • Exceptional Analytical Skills for interpreting laws and regulations
  • Effective Communication skills to collaborate with teams and explain legal concepts clearly
  • Attention to detail, a proactive approach, and the ability to work independently
  • Experience in the financial or housing finance sector is an advantage
  • Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB) or equivalent; additional certifications are a plus
