Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior Associate – Capital Markets based in Mumbai. The role involves end-to-end execution and advisory in equity and debt capital market transactions, including IPOs, rights issues, QIPs, preferential issues, buybacks, and delistings.

The Senior Associate will be responsible for:

Drafting, reviewing, and vetting offer documents such as the DRHP, RHP, Letter of Offer, placement memoranda, and other related transaction documents.

Preparing and reviewing applications to SEBI, Stock Exchanges, and other regulatory authorities.

Providing general legal and regulatory advice under SEBI Regulations, Companies Act, and other applicable securities laws.

Conducting legal due diligence and coordinating with clients, merchant bankers, auditors, and other intermediaries.

Supporting partners in client management, transaction execution, and ensuring compliance with all relevant legal and procedural requirements.

Staying updated on recent regulatory developments and market practices to provide informed and practical solutions to clients.

This role requires strong analytical and drafting skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deadlines in a fast-paced transactional environment.

Qualifications

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently
  • Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB); additional qualifications are a plus
  • Previous experience in a reputable law firm is preferred
  • PQE 4-5 years
