Job Summary:

The Chief Financial Manager will lead the Finance & Accounts function and ensure the organizations financial health through effective planning, analysis, compliance, and control. The role demands strong expertise in taxation, audit, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance—preferably in the NBFC or banking sector.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting & Accounting

  • Oversee end-to-end financial accounting, finalization, and preparation of monthly and annual statements as per IND AS and Companies Act.
  • Manage cash flows, budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis to support strategic decision-making.
  • Ensure accuracy in accounting entries, reconciliations, and documentation.

Taxation & Compliance

  • Handle Direct and Indirect Tax compliances including Income Tax, TDS, and GST.
  • Coordinate statutory, internal, and tax audits, ensuring timely completion and compliance with regulatory norms.
  • Liaise with external consultants and tax authorities for assessments and appeals.
  • Ensure RBI, FATCA, and other financial regulation compliances.

Treasury & Fund Management

  • Manage cash flow, banking operations, and relationships with lenders.
  • Support fundraising through CP, NCD, TL, or other instruments as applicable.
  • Monitor investment and fund utilization in alignment with business goals.

Risk Management

  • Identify, analyze, and mitigate financial risks; maintain an Asset-Liability Management framework.
  • Ensure proper internal controls and financial discipline.

Strategic & Management Support

  • Provide insights and financial analysis to management for business decisions, new projects, or cost optimization.
  • Develop and automate financial processes for improved efficiency.
  • Lead and mentor finance team members to achieve departmental objectives.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) – Mandatory.
  • Minimum 8 years of post-qualification experience in Finance, Accounts, and Taxation (NBFC or Banking experience preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of IND AS, GST, Income Tax, RBI regulations, and Company Law.
  • Proficiency in Tally ERP, MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); familiarity with Zoho Books is a plus.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
