Role Overview

We are looking for a dynamic
Talent Acquisition Specialist
with 2–3 years of experience in hiring across
IT, Marketing, Sales, Support, and ERP Implementation
roles. This role goes beyond just hiring – during lean recruitment cycles, you will actively contribute to HR generalist functions to enhance the employee experience at AlignBooks.

Talent Acquisition

  • Partner with hiring managers to understand role requirements, create detailed job descriptions, and define success criteria.
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment lifecycle: from sourcing and screening to offer rollout and onboarding.
  • Source candidates using advanced Boolean search techniques, recruitment tools, and social platforms like LinkedIn, Naukri, and niche job boards.
  • Build and maintain a proactive talent pipeline for future business needs across IT, Sales, Marketing, and Support functions.
  • Conduct structured interviews and evaluate candidates for role fit, cultural alignment, and long-term potential.
  • Coordinate technical assignments, panel rounds, and final negotiations with selected candidates.
  • Track and optimise time-to-hire and cost-per-hire metrics; provide data-driven insights to leadership.
  • Strengthen employer branding by contributing to social media hiring posts, career pages, and recruitment campaigns.
  • Drive internal referral programs and explore new channels for talent discovery.
  • Own the candidate experience end–to–end, timely updates, feedback, and a seamless hiring journey.
  • Collaborate with leadership on strategic workforce planning and talent forecasting for upcoming projects.
  • Maintain all hiring-related documentation, including JD bank, interview scorecards, and candidate feedback records.
  • Conduct regular competitor hiring benchmarking to stay updated on compensation trends and sourcing strategies.
  • Support contract staffing, internship programs, and campus hiring drives when needed.

HR Generalist Responsibilities (during non-recruitment phases)

  • Assist in the onboarding and induction of new employees.
  • Support performance appraisal processes, feedback loops, and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Coordinate HR documentation, policy implementation, and compliance.
  • Address employee queries and support internal communications.
  • Collaborate with the HR team for celebrations, training sessions, and welfare initiatives.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA/PGDM preferred).
  • 2–3 years of hands-on experience in talent acquisition, preferably in SaaS or tech-driven companies.
  • Strong understanding of job requirements across tech, sales, and marketing domains.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficient in using ATS, Excel/Google Sheets, and recruitment platforms.
  • Self-driven, detail-oriented, and capable of juggling multiple roles efficiently.
