Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Senior HR Professional with a strong background in the retail industry to manage the full spectrum of HR operations across multiple store locations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for recruitment, employee engagement, performance management, compliance, and ensuring smooth HR functioning aligned with business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Talent Acquisition & Onboarding

  • Handle end-to-end recruitment for retail and corporate positions (Store Managers, Sales Associates, Visual Merchandisers, etc.)
  • Manage manpower planning and forecasting as per store requirements.
  • Conduct onboarding and induction programs to ensure smooth integration of new hires.

2. Employee Relations & Engagement

  • Build strong relationships with store staff and operations teams to understand ground-level HR needs.
  • Manage employee engagement activities, grievance handling, and conflict resolution.
  • Drive initiatives to boost employee morale, retention, and performance.

3. Performance Management

  • Support managers in setting KPIs and conducting appraisals.
  • Track performance reviews and identify training needs and development opportunities.

4. Training & Development

  • Coordinate product, customer service, and soft skills training for retail employees.
  • Liaise with training partners or internal trainers for periodic learning sessions.

5. HR Operations & Compliance

  • Maintain HRMIS data and employee records accurately.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements (PF, ESIC, Shops & Establishment Act, etc.).
  • Manage attendance, leave, and payroll coordination.

6. HR Strategy & Reporting

  • Support the HR Head in implementing HR policies and strategic initiatives.
  • Generate HR analytics reports on attrition, manpower, and performance metrics.

Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong understanding of retail workforce dynamics and HR best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Hands-on experience with HR software / HRIS tools.
  • Good knowledge of labour laws and compliance.
  • Proactive, people-oriented, and result-driven.

Education Qualification:

  • MBA / PGDM in Human Resources or related field.
  • Additional certifications in HR operations or labour law will be an advantage.

Experience: Min 4 to 6 years in Retail HR

Salary Budget - 6 Lpa to 8 Lpa depending upn your last drawn
