We are looking for a driven, analytical, and creative Digital Marketing & Google Ads Specialist to plan, execute and optimize paid search campaigns on Google (and potentially related platforms). The ideal candidate will use data‑driven insights to maximize ROI, improve campaign performance, and support broader digital marketing goals.
Key Responsibilities
Google Ads / PPC Campaigns
• Plan, set up, and manage Google Ads campaigns (Search, Display, Shopping, Video) based on business objectives.
• Do thorough keyword research, including negative keyword identification.
• Develop and test ad copy and creatives.
• Monitor bids, budgets, ad quality scores etc., to optimize performance.
Tracking & Analytics
• Set up conversion tracking (via Google Ads, Google Analytics, Tag Manager etc.) to measure campaign outcomes.
• Define KPIs (e.g., CTR, CPC, CPA, ROAS) and track them regularly.
• Generate reports, dashboards and insights; identify trends and recommend optimizations.
Optimization
• A/B test ad elements (copy, landing pages, creatives) to improve conversion rates.
• Adjust targeting (geo, device, audience) for better efficiency.
• Monitor competition, changes in search behavior, and adjust strategy accordingly.
Budget & Forecasting
• Plan budgets for campaigns, allocate across channels/segments, monitor spend vs performance.
• Forecast outcomes and ensure campaigns deliver best return.
Collaboration & Strategy
• Coordinate with content, design, web/UX teams to ensure landing pages are optimized.
• Work with marketing team to align Google Ads strategy with overall digital marketing strategy (SEO, social media, email etc.).
• Keep up with industry trends, platform changes, and recommend new opportunities (new ad features, platforms, targeting techniques etc.).
Required Skills & Qualifications
Education & Experience
• Bachelor's degree (Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field) preferred.
• Proven experience (1‑3+ years, depending on role seniority) managing Google Ads / PPC campaigns.
• Experience in digital marketing more broadly is a plus.
Certifications / Tools
• Google Ads certification (Search / Display etc.) desirable.
• Strong familiarity with Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager.
• Comfort with data tools / spreadsheets (Excel, Google Sheets).
Technical / Analytical Skills
• Strong quantitative skills: able to analyze campaign data, draw insights, make recommendations.
• Competent in keyword research and competitive analysis.
• Understanding of Quality Score, bidding strategies, attribution models etc.
Communication & Creative Skills
• Good copywriting skills for ad text; ability to work with creatives.
• Clear presentation skills for stakeholder reporting and decision making.
• Strong attention to detail.
Personal Traits
• Results‑oriented, driven to get the best ROI.
• Adaptable to change (platform updates, shifts in budget or priorities).
• Curious and proactive: always testing, learning, optimizing.
Nice‑to‑Have / Preferred Qualifications
- Experience managing campaigns in multiple regions / languages.
- Experience with Display / Video campaigns (YouTube) besides Search.
- Working knowledge of other PPC platforms (e.g. Microsoft Ads / Bing Ads).
- Understanding of SEO to align paid + organic efforts.
