Position Overview

We are looking for a proactive L1 Monitoring Support Engineer to join our technical operations team. The role involves monitoring server infrastructure—including ESXi, virtual machines, storage systems, backups, and designated applications (e.g., UPI, IMPS, ATM)—to ensure high availability, performance, and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Monitoring & Incident Management

Continuously monitor and respond to alerts and notifications from monitoring tools.

Perform routine health checks and maintenance activities.

Collaborate with L2 engineers to resolve issues and escalate complex problems to L3 when necessary.

Monitor various dashboards and escalate issues to respective stakeholders to ensure timely closure.

Manage vendor support cases and follow up for resolution.

  1. Documentation & Coordination

Maintain accurate documentation in the Knowledge Management System (KMS).

Support planned activities such as patching, migrations, and scheduled maintenance.

Ensure communication and coordination with cross-functional teams and vendors.

Required Qualifications & Skills

Experience: 2+ years in L1 monitoring or IT infrastructure support.

Technical Knowledge:

Basic understanding of VMware architecture, configuration, and troubleshooting.

Experience analyzing ESXi logs and vCenter performance charts.

Familiarity with storage, backup, and replication technologies.

Basic knowledge of asset and lifecycle management.

Certifications: Any relevant certification will be an added advantage.

Soft Skills: Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities.

Nice to Have

Experience with IT Service Management (ITSM) tools such as ServiceNow, Jira, or similar.

Work Environment

On-site support required on a 24×7 rotational shift basis.

Must be available for planned maintenance activities such as patching, updates, and migrations.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹18, ₹32,500.00 per month
