As a member of the finance team in Delhi, India, you will work closely with the teams, partners and customers across our operations in India and Southeast Asia, and will play a vital role in financial management of the group companies.

Key responsibilities

The Assistant Manager will be responsible for supporting the Financial Manager in the below activities in the target region (India and Southeast Asia):

• Financial Reporting
  :

o Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements (income statement, balance sheet, cash flow statement) in accordance with accounting standards.

o Ensure compliance with accounting policies, regulations, and statutory requirements.

• Audit

o Plan, coordinate, and manage statutory and group audit with Big 4  .

o Serve as the primary liaison between the company and external/internal auditors.

o Ensure timely submission of financial statements, schedules, and supporting documents required for audits.

o Track audit timelines and ensure completion within statutory deadlines.

o  Monitor compliance with relevant accounting standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.

• Compliance and Regulatory Reporting:

·      Ensure tax payments and tax fillings (GST, Income Tax, etc.).

• Investor Reporting

·      Develop and prepare MIS each month for each of the projects.

·      Prepare custom reports for specific management queries or financial analysis needs

·      
Any other relevant and suitable task, as required, to support the activities of the team.

Job requirements

We are looking for someone (1) Chartered Accountant or master's degree in finance and accounting, years of relevant experience, preferably in the renewable energy sector, (3) Proficiency in financial management software (Tally Prime, Advanced Excel etc.), and (4) Strong knowledge of IFRS, and (5) Experience of managing audit with the Big 6 firms In addition, some attributes that are critical to the job include:
