Role & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

1. Taxation & Compliance

  • Ensure timely and accurate filing of GST, TDS, and Income Tax returns
  • Coordinate with consultants for tax assessments, notices, and scrutiny
  • Maintain compliance with all direct and indirect tax regulations
  • Assist in the preparation and review of tax audit reports and statutory submissions

2. Financial Accounting & Reporting

  • Prepare and finalize monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
  • Assist in the preparation and review of the balance sheet, P&L, and cash flow statements
  • Ensure ompliance with Indian Accounting Standards (Ind-AS) and applicable financial laws

3. Reconciliations

  • Perform regular bank, vendor, customer, and inter-company account reconciliations
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies in accounts
  • Maintain supporting documentation for all reconciliations and financial records

4. Audit & Internal Controls

  • Coordinate with statutory and internal auditors during audits
  • Ensure timely closure of audit queries and implementation of audit recommendations
  • Maintain strong internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial accuracy

5. Real Estate Finance Operations

  • Monitor project-related finances including cost tracking, revenue recognition, and budgeting
  • Ensure proper accounting of project collections, advances, and milestones
  • Liaise with project, sales, and legal teams to ensure financial accuracy and compliance
