Job Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and forward-thinking Digital Business Partner Smart Manufacturing to lead our digital transformation initiatives across the manufacturing landscape. This role is crucial in driving innovation, operational efficiency, and data-driven decision-making through the adoption of advanced digital technologies such as Industry 4.0, AI/ML, MES, and smart automation.

The candidate will lead functional aspects of smart manufacturing, from strategic planning to execution, ensuring alignment with the Enterprises digital strategy and business objectives. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in manufacturing systems and a proven track record of successfully leading digital initiatives in industrial environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Digital Strategy Development:
  
  Develop and implement the organizations digitalization strategy, aligned with business goals and operational needs. Align digital transformation efforts with the Enterprise digital strategy, IT infrastructure, policies, digital architecture, and portfolio management.
• Technology Leadership:
  
  Identify, evaluate, and implement advanced digital technologies (e.g., Industrial IoT, digital twins, MES, SCADA, robotics, AI/ML) to optimize manufacturing processes.
• Smart Factory Implementation:
  
  Drive the implementation of Industry 4.0 principles including real-time data collection, predictive maintenance, machine learning analytics, and automation.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  
  Partner with Operations, IT, Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain to align digital initiatives with core business functions. Prepare detailed Business Requirement Documents (BRD) and Statements of Work (SOW) for various digital projects.
• Digital Infrastructure:
  
  Oversee the design and deployment of digital infrastructure such as data platforms, cloud services, edge computing, and cybersecurity solutions.
• Change Management:
  
  Lead organizational change efforts to promote a digital mindset and ensure successful adoption of new tools and processes
• Vendor & Partner Management:
  
  Evaluate and manage relationships with digital solution providers, system integrators, and technology consultants.
• Data Governance & Analytics:
  
  Establish best practices for data governance, integration, and utilization across the enterprise for operational and strategic insights.
• Talent Development:
  
  Build and lead a high-performing technical digitalization team, and upskill internal teams on digital tools and methodologies.
• Annual Operation Planning: Develop and manage the annual operations and budget planning for the digitalization roadmap, aligning with overall business goals and Enterprise Digital Portfolio.
• Program and Project Management: Drive end-to end project execution, ensuring timely delivery, quality and budget. Define, monitor, and analyze Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and value realization metrics to track the impact and ROI of digital initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in manufacturing environments with at least 5 years in a digital leadership role.
• Deep understanding of digital manufacturing systems and processes enabling seamless data flow and operational efficiency (IIOT, Edge Gateways, SCADA, PLCs, Industrial protocols, MES, ERP, Cloud, Big Data etc.).
• Proven expertise in Industry 4.0 technologies, smart automation, and data analytics to optimize manufacturing processes.
• Skilled in engaging business partners and stakeholders to efficiently capture critical requirements and translate them into clear project charters, BRDs, FRDs, and SOWs.
• Strong project management, stakeholder communication, and Agile delivery skills.
• Experience leading digital transformation in multi-site or global manufacturing organizations is a plus.

Preferred Skills:

• Certifications in Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, or PMP.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), OT/IT integration, and cybersecurity standards.
• Knowledge of sustainability practices and how digital tools can support ESG goals.
