Jewellery Production Manager

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, schedule, and supervise gold jewellery production from casting to finishing.
  • Implement and monitor loss control procedures for gold handling, melting, filing, polishing, and returns.
  • Track material movement (GRN, issue, return, WIP) and reconcile stock daily.
  • Maintain accurate records of weights, purity, and yield; prepare variance and loss reports.
  • Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and audit standards.
  • Coordinate with design, procurement, QC, and dispatch teams to meet deadlines.
  • Train staff on best practices for gold control, tool usage, and process discipline.
  • Drive continuous improvement to reduce wastage and increase productivity.

Requirements

  • 5+ years' experience in gold jewellery production management.
  • Strong knowledge of production processes: casting, soldering, stone setting, polishing, plating, and finishing.
  • Proven experience in loss/wastage control, stock reconciliation, and audits.
  • Familiarity with ERP/MIS for manufacturing and inventory tracking.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Integrity and attention to detail are a must.

Preferred

  • Experience in BIS Hallmarking compliance and documentation.
  • Knowledge of diamond/stone consumption norms and return policies.
  • Prior work experience in Mumbai or similar high-volume units.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹200, ₹250,000.00 per month
