Hand Jewellery Designer

Position: Hand Jewellery Designer

Location: Grant Road, Mumbai

Qualification: Bachelor's Degree (Design / Fine Arts / Jewellery Design or related field)

Experience: 5–7 years (in jewellery design)

Salary Range: ₹70,000 – ₹80,000 per month

Gender Preference: Both (Male/Female)

About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced and creative Hand Jewellery Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have expertise in designing traditional and contemporary hand jewellery, a keen eye for detail, and a strong sense of aesthetics. This role requires innovation, precision, and a deep understanding of current jewellery trends and consumer preferences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conceptualize and design unique hand jewellery collections (bracelets, bangles, hand harnesses, cuffs, etc.).
  • Create detailed sketches, CAD designs, or digital renderings for production.
  • Collaborate with artisans, craftsmen, and production teams to bring designs to life.
  • Research and analyze jewellery market trends, materials, and customer preferences.
  • Ensure designs meet brand standards, quality, and customer requirements.
  • Innovate with new patterns, materials, and design techniques.
  • Work closely with marketing and sales teams for seasonal/launch collections.
  • Maintain a design portfolio for future reference and presentations.

Required Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong creative and artistic skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in jewellery design software (CAD, Rhino, CorelDRAW, Illustrator, etc.).
  • Knowledge of gemstones, metals, and jewellery manufacturing processes.
  • Ability to balance traditional craftsmanship with modern design trends.
  • Strong visualization, sketching, and rendering abilities.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
