Job Description

Responsible for planning, executing, and managing operating system upgrades and server lifecycle activities within the CBDC infrastructure. Ensure high availability, security, and compliance of systems supporting digital currency operations.

O/S Upgrade & Server Management
  • Plan and execute OS upgrades across production, staging, and development environments.
  • Apply security patches and hotfixes to maintain compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Manage Linux/Unix and Windows servers hosting CBDC applications.
  • Monitor system performance and optimize resource utilization.
OCP Administration
  • Deploy, configure, and maintain OpenShift clusters for CBDC workloads.
  • Manage OCP nodes, pods, and networking policies to ensure high availability.
  • Implement role-based access control (RBAC) and security policies within OCP.
  • Perform cluster upgrades, patching, and health checks.
  • Monitor OCP performance and troubleshoot containerized application issues.
  • Integrate OCP with CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments.
  • Ensure compliance with financial security standards in container environments.
Security & Compliance
  • Implement hardening measures and ensure adherence to cybersecurity frameworks.
  • Conduct vulnerability assessments and remediate findings promptly.
Automation & Scripting
  • Develop scripts for automated deployment, configuration, and monitoring.
  • Utilize tools like Ansible, PowerShell, and Bash for automation.
Disaster Recovery & Backup
  • Maintain backup strategies and participate in DR drills.
  • Ensure data integrity and system resilience.
Documentation & Reporting
  • Prepare upgrade plans, risk assessments, and post-upgrade reports.
  • Maintain detailed system documentation for audits and compliance.

Job Requirement

  • Strong experience in Linux (RHEL, Ubuntu) and Windows Server administration.
  • Expertise in OS upgrade planning, patching, and rollback strategies.
  • Hands-on experience with OpenShift Container Platform administration.
  • Knowledge of Kubernetes, container orchestration, and microservices architecture.
  • Familiarity with CBDC architecture, blockchain-based systems, and secure environments.
  • Proficiency in automation tools (Ansible, PowerShell, Bash scripting).
  • Understanding of ISO 27001, PCI DSS, and other financial security standards.
