Job Description:

The Purchase Executive/Manager is responsible for sourcing materials, negotiating with suppliers, and ensuring timely procurement at optimal cost and quality. The role involves vendor management, purchase planning, and maintaining inventory levels.(Should be having bearings knowledge )

Key Responsibilities: Purchase

  • Source and negotiate with suppliers for best prices and terms
  • Issue purchase orders and track deliveries
  • Maintain inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment
  • Evaluate vendor performance and build strong supplier relationships
  • Coordinate with stores, accounts, and production for procurement needs
  • Maintain accurate purchase records and reports

Key Responsibilities: Logistic

  • Plan, organize, and monitor logistics operations including transportation, warehousing, and distribution.
  • Coordinate with suppliers, carriers, and internal teams to ensure timely and cost-effective deliveries.
  • Maintain and update shipment schedules, tracking systems, and documentation (invoices, customs, compliance paperwork).
  • Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with warehouse staff for stock accuracy.
  • Optimize logistics processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, legal, and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare periodic reports on logistics performance and KPIs.
  • Handle escalations related to delayed shipments, damaged goods, or discrepancies.

Requirements:

  • Experience in procurement or supply chain roles
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems
  • Degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field
