As an IT Support Specialist, you will play a crucial role in keeping the company's technology running smoothly and efficiently. You will provide world-class support for internal users, managing hardware, software, and cloud-based tools to ensure seamless operations. This role involves troubleshooting technical issues, provisioning devices, assisting with onboarding, and maintaining IT documentation. You will work closely with colleagues across departments, ensuring technology enhances productivity and employee experience. Accountabilities:
- Provide technical support for company-owned computers, mobile devices, and Enterprise SaaS applications.
- Set up, configure, and maintain laptops, desktops, and mobile devices, ensuring smooth onboarding and deprovisioning of users.
- Troubleshoot network connectivity, hardware, and software issues, escalating when necessary.
- Maintain and update internal IT documentation and standard operating procedures.
- Support conference room A/V systems and other IT infrastructure.
- Respond to Level 1 service requests within defined service-level agreements (SLAs).
- Assist with IT projects and other tasks as assigned by management.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience/certification in IT, Information Systems, or related field.
- Basic understanding of network protocols and troubleshooting connectivity issues.
- 2+ years of relevant IT support experience in a corporate environment.
- Experience managing Apple devices, Windows systems, and cloud SaaS tools (e.g., Google Workspace, Slack).
- Familiarity with endpoint management tools such as Jamf or Microsoft Intune.
- Knowledge of Linux OS management and security frameworks (ISO 27001/SOC II Type II) is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication for providing top-tier customer support.
- Ability to work on-site in Chennai a minimum of 4 days per week.
