Job Title: Ship Broker (Dry Bulk Chartering)

Experience: 1 to 10 Years

Locations: Mumbai & Gurugram (Sector 62)

Compensation: 3 LPA to 13 LPA

Main Qualifications:

  • Minimum Graduate-level degree.
  • Strong command of English (spoken and written).
  • 1 to 10 years of direct experience in dry bulk chartering/operations, with proven ability to begin work immediately without formal training.
  • Existing relationships or rapport with dry bulk chartering clients are beneficial but not essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and close chartering opportunities matching vessels with suitable cargoes for owners, operators, and charterers.
  • Maintain continuous communication and coordination with shipowners, charterers, and brokers.
  • Draft and review charter parties and fixture notes.
  • Resolve operational or commercial issues post-fixture.
  • Coordinate with shipping agents, post-fixture desks, and all relevant stakeholders.
  • Participate in local and international business development to grow the company's market presence.
  • Conduct market research and fact-finding to identify potential new clients and cargoes.

  • Excellent team player with strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Proactive attitude and ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
