Job Description:

VP Finance - would be responsible for all financial aspects of the business, including financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting. He/She would also oversee financial operations, including accounting, treasury, taxes, and auditing.

Additionally, they would play a key role in project finance, financial modeling, and fundraising for solar projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Planning and Analysis: Develop and implement financial plans, budgets, and forecasts for the EPC division, including project-specific financial models.

Project Finance: Manage and execute project financing, including fundraising, deal structuring, and financial closure.

Financial Modeling: Conduct financial modeling and analysis of projects to assess profitability and viability.

Budget Management: Oversee budget preparation, monitoring, and control, ensuring alignment with financial targets.

Financial Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports to management and stakeholders, ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with direct and indirect tax laws and regulations.

Treasury Management: Manage cash flow, investments, and banking relationships.

Auditing: Lead and oversee audit planning and execution.

Team Leadership: Manage and develop a high-performing finance team.

Strategic Financial Planning: Contribute to the overall financial strategy of the EPC business.

Skills and Qualifications:

Education: CA, CFA, or equivalent degree.

Experience: 20+ years of experience in finance, preferably in the solar or renewable energy sector, with project finance experience.

Knowledge: Solid knowledge of project finance, financial modeling, fundraising, and deal structuring.

Skills: Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Other: Ability to lead and manage teams, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
