Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and present continental dishes (pastas, salads, sandwiches, grills, etc.) with consistency and quality.
  • Create new menu items and contribute innovative ideas for café-style plating and presentation.
  • Maintain kitchen hygiene, food safety, and storage standards as per FSSAI norms.
  • Supervise kitchen staff and manage daily operations efficiently.
  • Ensure proper stock control, portion management, and minimize wastage.
  • Coordinate with the café manager for menu planning, specials, and catering orders.
  • Uphold quality and taste standards for all items served.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Continental Chef / Commis I / Demi Chef de Partie in a café, bistro, or restaurant.
  • Strong knowledge of sauces, pastas, salads, and baked items.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen with attention to detail.
  • Excellent sense of taste, presentation, and hygiene.
  • Team player with good communication and leadership skills.
  • Diploma or certification in Hotel Management / Culinary Arts preferred.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
