Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage and oversee the financial activities of our organization. The Accountant will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain and update financial records, including ledgers, journals, and reconciliations.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and summaries for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Account Reconciliation: Perform regular bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial transactions.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial projections.
  • Compliance: Ensure adherence to accounting standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Tax Filing: Prepare and file tax returns and ensure timely payment of taxes.
  • Audit Support: Assist with internal and external audits and provide necessary documentation and explanations.
  • Accounts Payable/Receivable: Manage accounts payable and receivable, including processing invoices, payments, and collections.
  • Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional certification (e.g., CPA) is a plus.
  • Experience: Minimum of 1 years of experience in accounting or a similar role.
  • Skills:
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Microsoft Excel).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards.

Job Type: Full-time
