Job Summary

We are looking for a Sous Chef to support the Executive Chef in managing daily kitchen operations, ensuring consistent food quality, hygiene standards, and smooth service in a fast-paced café environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Executive Chef in daily kitchen operations and service execution
  • Ensure recipe adherence, portion control, and consistent taste
  • Supervise kitchen staff (CDPs, Commis, helpers) during shifts
  • Plan daily prep and coordinate smooth service flow
  • Monitor food quality, freshness, and presentation standards
  • Control wastage and support inventory management
  • Ensure FSSAI, hygiene, and safety compliance at all times
  • Handle kitchen issues during service and escalate when required
  • Support menu trials, new launches, and process improvements

Required Skills & Experience

  • 3–6 years of experience as Sous Chef / Senior CDP in cafés, cloud kitchens, or QSR
  • Strong understanding of café-style food, continental basics, and kitchen operations
  • Experience in high-volume or delivery-focused kitchens preferred
  • Knowledge of standard recipes, prep planning, and cost control basics
  • Good team handling and communication skills
  • Ability to work flexible shifts and weekends

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30, ₹35,000.00 per month
