What you'll build

We are looking for a skilled engineer to join our team focused on building new design time applications and integrations via microservices. You will play a critical role in designing, developing, and deploying scalable solutions that streamline workflows and enable seamless integration across platforms. With your expertise, you will help drive innovation and operational efficiency within our organization.

As part of our team, you will work on:

Application Development :

• Design and develop robust, scalable applications and interfaces
• Implement APIs and microservices to enable cross-platform integrations.

Integration Solutions:

• Build and maintain data and application integration solutions.
• Work with diverse APIs and enterprise systems to ensure seamless data flow.

Quality and Maintainability:

• Ensure high quality and maintainability with programming methods, asset reuse, and large-scale patterns

Technical Leadership:

• Provide guidance to the engineering team, review code, and ensure adherence to best practices.
• Lead architectural discussions and contribute to technology roadmaps.

Collaboration:

• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, data scientists, and DevOps engineers, to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications and scalable designs.

Performance Optimization:

• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize system performance, ensuring reliability and scalability.

What you bring

• Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Business informatics or related field with over 6 years' experience
• Strong expertise in Javascript, UI5, Node.JS
• Proficiency in building RESTful APIs for integration services
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, data processing frameworks, and cloud-native architecture.
• Experience with developing applications/services and deploying in BTP or similar SaaS platforms
• Good understanding of containerization and CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with SAP Analytics Cloud and SAP Datasphere or similar analytics/data warehousing environments is a plus
• Familiarity with SAP Build and CAP framework is an advantage
• Understanding of the fundamentals in data management, data engineering or data visualization topics are a bonus
• Ability to quickly learn new areas such as SAP Business Applications (S/4HANA, HCM, ISBN, CX)
