Summary:

The Bakery Chef creates a variety of baked goods including breads, pastries, cakes, and desserts while supervising the bakery team and ensuring high quality and food safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and bake a range of bakery products according to standard recipes and quality specifications.
  • Innovate new baking items and seasonal specialty products to enhance menu offerings.
  • Train, supervise, and evaluate the performance of junior bakery staff.
  • Maintain inventory of baking supplies and order ingredients as needed.
  • Ensure strict adherence to hygiene, food safety, and sanitation regulations in the bakery.
  • Operate and maintain bakery equipment, troubleshooting issues promptly.
  • Manage production schedules to meet sales needs efficiently.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen and management to coordinate bakery product availability.

Employer Requirements:

  • Certified training or diploma in bakery or pastry arts preferred.
  • 3 years+ experience as a bakery chef or pastry cook in a professional bakery or hotel.
  • Strong pastry skills, creativity, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to coach and motivate a small team.
  • Good time management and organizational skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20, ₹25,000.00 per month
