Job Overview:

We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Institutional Business Manager with minimum 5–6 years of experience in institutional or hospital sales/business development. The role involves driving business growth in government and private hospitals, managing key institutional accounts, and building long-term relationships with healthcare decision-makers.

This position offers the opportunity to work across the state of Uttar Pradesh, with a base location in Lucknow (other U.P. locations can be considered). Salary will be up to 12 LPA, depending on the candidate's profile and experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement business strategies to expand institutional/hospital business across U.P.
  • Identify and acquire new institutional clients, including government and private hospitals.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, purchase departments, and decision-makers.
  • Ensure effective tender management and participation in government/ institutional bids.
  • Achieve sales targets and ensure profitability for the assigned territory.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, finance, and supply chain for seamless operations.
  • Monitor competitor activities and market trends to identify new opportunities.
  • Prepare regular reports on sales performance, market insights, and business development activities.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum 5–6 years of experience in institutional sales/business development in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, or Business Administration. MBA in Marketing or related field is preferred.
  • Skills & Knowledge:
  • Strong understanding of hospital/institutional sales, tendering processes, and key account management.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work independently and drive results across multiple geographies.
  • Good analytical and market research skills to identify opportunities and address challenges.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within Uttar Pradesh.
