Overview

We are seeking an experienced Technical Business Analyst to support a large-scale transformation program focused on upgrading the core banking system across multiple countries. The role demands strong expertise in banking systems, data quality by design, and metadata management, with the ability to collaborate across business and technology teams to ensure compliance, governance, and data lineage.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the core banking transformation program across multiple countries.
  • Document and define data quality control requirements in source systems; secure sign-off from business stakeholders.
  • Apply domain expertise across core banking functions including Customer, KYC, Trade, Payments, Loans, and Deposits.
  • Partner with technology teams to communicate data quality requirements and validate test plans.
  • Ensure ETL pipelines capture metadata and data lineage effectively.
  • Utilize Informatica EDC and Axon for data governance practices.
  • Apply statistical and mathematical methods to analyze, organize, and measure large datasets.
  • Design and maintain databases, data models, and data mining solutions.
  • Use SQL, Oracle, R, MATLAB, and Python for data analysis and development.
  • Build reports and dashboards using Business Objects, Qlik, and Power BI.
  • Leverage big data platforms like Hadoop and Apache Spark.
  • Develop and document procedures/workflows for data quality, reporting, and governance.
  • Perform data validation, cleansing, and linkage for quality assurance.
  • Deliver clear data visualizations and graphical insights.
  • Manage reporting environments, including data sources, security, and metadata.
  • Translate business requirements into technical specifications and ensure alignment across teams.

Pre-requisites

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 7–10 years of professional experience as a Data Analyst or Technical Business Analyst.
  • Proven experience handling large-scale databases and datasets.
  • Strong understanding of data governance, metadata standards, and data management methodologies.
  • Familiarity with risk assessment, existing tool evaluation, and process optimization.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical thinking, and teamwork skills with high attention to detail.

Job Type: Contractual / Temporary

Contract length: 3 months

Pay: ₹100, ₹145,000.00 per year
