Job Title: Business Analyst (Power BI)

Location: REMOTE

Employment Type: Full-Time / Contract

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst (Power BI) who can bridge the gap between business needs and data-driven decision-making. The ideal candidate will analyze business requirements, transform data into insights using Power BI, and provide actionable recommendations to stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gather, analyze, and document business requirements across functional teams.
  • Develop interactive and visually compelling Power BI dashboards and reports.
  • Perform data analysis and validation to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Translate business problems into analytical solutions using Power BI, DAX, and SQL.
  • Collaborate with IT, data engineers, and business users to implement effective BI solutions.
  • Conduct requirement workshops, UAT sessions, and support decision-making processes.
  • Provide ad-hoc reporting and data insights to senior management.
  • Continuously improve dashboard performance and usability.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, Data Analytics, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or Data Analyst.
  • Proven expertise in Power BI (DAX, Power Query, Data Modeling, Visualization).
  • Strong knowledge of SQL, Excel, and data warehousing concepts.
  • Ability to analyze large datasets and deliver business insights.
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience with data integration tools (e.g., Azure, SQL Server, or ETL tools) is an advantage.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in SAP, Retail, Finance, or Manufacturing domains.
  • Familiarity with Agile / Scrum methodologies.
  • Exposure to cloud BI platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).

Soft Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with a data-driven mindset.
  • Excellent presentation and storytelling skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Contractual / Temporary, Freelance

Contract length: 6 months

Pay: ₹3, ₹5,000.00 per day
