Key Responsibilities

Operations Management: Oversee end-to-end supply chain—from costing/procurement to delivery—to ensure smooth, efficient operations.

  • Planning & Coordination: Develop and implement logistics plans; coordinate transportation and distribution activities.

  • Inventory Management: Maintain optimal stock levels; ensure timely availability while minimizing carrying costs.

  • Transportation Management: Select/manage transport modes, negotiate rates, and track shipments for on-time delivery.

  • Cost Optimization: Identify and implement cost-saving measures without compromising service quality.

  • Performance Measurement: Monitor KPIs to track logistics performance and drive continuous improvement.

  • Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a logistics team; provide direction, coaching, and performance management.

  • Problem Solving: Resolve logistical challenges swiftly to ensure accurate, timely deliveries.

  • Supplier Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and transport partners.

  • Communication: Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and customers.
