Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Pastry Chef, located in India. The Pastry Chef will be responsible for creating high-quality baked goods and desserts, experimenting with recipes, and ensuring consistency and excellence in all products. Key responsibilities include baking, food preparation, maintaining kitchen standards, staying updated on new trends in the pastry industry, and managing inventory for baking ingredients. The ideal candidate will support the kitchen team in fostering creativity and adhering to hygiene and quality standards.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Bakery and Baking techniques
  • Strong skills in Food Preparation and Cooking
  • Demonstrated expertise in Culinary Skills, including the ability to create diverse pastries, desserts, and confections
  • Knowledge of maintaining food safety and hygiene standards
  • Creativity and passion for experimenting with new dessert recipes and designs
  • Prior experience in a professional bakery or culinary establishment preferred
  • Diploma or degree in Baking, Culinary Arts, or a related field will be an advantage
  • Excellent teamwork and time management skills
