The
National Restaurant Association of India (NRAI)
is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Sales Head with 7–12 years of B2B sales experience in the hospitality or foodservice industry. The candidate must have a proven track record in business development, stakeholder engagement, and market outreach.
This role requires extensive travel across India, strong relationship-building capabilities, and a strategic approach to strengthen NRAI's presence nationwide.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Membership Acquisition & Growth
- Drive membership growth across all NRAI City Chapters by identifying, meeting, and onboarding prospective restaurant partners.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to meet monthly and annual membership targets.
- Promote NRAI membership benefits, initiatives, and advocacy efforts to potential members.
2. Chapter Coordination & Support
- Travel across all city chapters to support local membership drives, meetings, and events.
- Work closely with chapter heads to understand local challenges and opportunities.
- Ensure consistent communication and alignment between national headquarters and regional chapters.
3. Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with restaurant owners, industry leaders, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
- Attend industry events, exhibitions, networking forums, and association meetings to represent NRAI and generate leads.
4. Reporting & Analysis
- Track membership data, conversion rates, and performance metrics.
- Provide weekly and monthly reports to the national office.
- Recommend improvements in sales strategy based on market feedback and trends.
5. Collaboration & Support
- Coordinate with the communications and events teams for membership campaigns, promotional content, and outreach programs.
- Support execution of membership-related initiatives and national events.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- 7–12 years of experience in sales, business development, or membership acquisition—preferably in hospitality, F&B, or associations.
- Should have prior exposure to B2B sales and experience interacting with business owners, franchisees, and senior leadership.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to build trustworthy relationships with senior industry stakeholders.
- Comfortable with extensive travel across India.
- Self-driven, target-oriented, and able to work independently.

The association works closely with a network of State and City chapter partners in Mumbai, Gurugram, Bengaluru, Kolkata, Delhi, Noida and Chandigarh and will open new chapters in others cities soon. The Chapter activities include:
· Ground work and action pertaining to government issues and representations
· Facilitate the exchange of knowledge & experience
· Provide support in the overall development of the association
