We are pleased to announce that a JRF (Junior Research Fellowship) position is available under a DRDO sponsored research project in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, NIT Rourkela.

Applications are invited from motivated and eligible students for this opportunity.

Eligibility:

· B.Tech./M.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering (with valid GATE Score).

· Candidates with research interest turbomachinery, fluid mechanics, bearings, precision fabrication will be preferred.

· GATE qualification is desirable (as per DRDO JRF guidelines).

Fellowship & Duration:

· Fellowship amount: 37,000/- per Months for Year 1 and 2. For rest 3 years Rs.42,000/-

· Project Duration is 3 years. After three year the students may submit the PhD thesis.
