
Tax Assistant Manager

Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee all aspects of the company's tax compliance, including federal, state, and local income taxes, sales/use tax, property tax, and payroll tax filings.
- Review and prepare corporate, partnership, and individual tax returns as needed.
- Ensure timely and accurate tax filings and payments.
- Research and interpret tax laws to ensure compliance and identify tax-saving opportunities.
- Develop and implement effective tax strategies to minimize liabilities and support business growth.
- Manage tax audits and correspondence with tax authorities.
- Provide guidance on tax implications of mergers, acquisitions, and other business transactions.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax regulations and industry best practices.
- Collaborate with accounting, finance, and legal teams to support financial reporting and strategic planning.
- Supervise and mentor junior tax staff, providing technical guidance and performance feedback.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master's in Taxation preferred).
- CA Inter/ CMA Inter certification strongly preferred.
- 5–7 years of progressive tax experience, including public accounting and/or corporate tax.
- Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.
- Experience managing tax compliance and audits.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and research skills.
- Strong communication and leadership abilities.
- Proficiency with tax software and ERP/accounting systems.
- In depth knowledge in GST, TDS ,Income Tax filling work
