Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Accountant, located in South Goa. The Accountant will be responsible for managing financial transactions, bookkeeping, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. Day-to-day tasks include conducting audits, reconciling accounts, preparing tax returns, and maintaining accurate financial records. The role also involves analyzing financial data to support decision-making and providing financial reports to management.

Qualifications

  • Expertise in financial transactions, bookkeeping, and preparing financial statements
  • Skills in conducting audits, reconciling accounts, and preparing tax returns
  • Proficiency in financial software and systems
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Professional certification (e.g., CPA) is a plus, but not mandatory
  • Experience in the travel and tourism industry is an advantage
