Roles and Responsibilities

  • Sales & Business Development:

  • Develop and implement strategies to achieve revenue and profitability targets.

  • Drive the productivity of the agency by meeting unit and sales objectives.
  • Identify, recruit, train, and manage a team of agency managers and agents.
  • Conduct localized marketing initiatives to boost customer traffic and market share.
  • Foster and maintain strong relationships with existing and new clients, as well as local stakeholders.

  • Team Leadership & Development:

  • Lead, motivate, and train the sales team to enhance performance and customer service.

  • Conduct regular performance reviews and develop individuals' training and development plans.
  • Build a strong leadership pipeline for future agency managers.

  • Operations & Compliance:

  • Oversee the daily operations and ensure smooth functioning of the branch.

  • Monitor financial performance, including budgeting and cost control.
  • Ensure the branch complies with company guidelines, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Implement and ensure adherence to company-specific sales systems and standards.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Leadership & Management: Exceptional leadership and team-building proficiencies.
  • Sales & Marketing: Demonstrated track record in sales and marketing, particularly within the insurance sector.
  • Agency Channel Experience: Significant experience in the insurance agency or direct channel, with a minimum number of years in team handling, is often required.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and execute strategic business plans.
  • Financial Acumen: Understanding of financial performance, budgeting, and cost control.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills for effective team and client engagement.
