Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled
IT Administrator
to design, implement, and maintain our organization's IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring high availability, performance, and security of servers, storage, networks, and cloud environments. This role is highly technical and crucial for supporting operations and business continuity.

Key Responsibilities:

Infrastructure Management

  • Administer and maintain physical and virtual servers (Windows/Linux).
  • Manage virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V) and storage systems (SAN/NAS).
  • Monitor infrastructure performance, capacity, and health, taking proactive actions to avoid downtime.
  • Manage patching, firmware updates, and lifecycle management of infrastructure components.

Network & Security

  • Configure and maintain network infrastructure (routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs).
  • Implement and manage network segmentation, VLANs, and QoS.
  • Ensure infrastructure security through firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection.
  • Conduct regular audits and ensure compliance with security policies and industry standards.

Cloud & Hybrid Environments

  • Deploy and manage workloads in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Optimize hybrid cloud infrastructure and connectivity.
  • Manage identity and access control (IAM) in cloud and on-premise systems.

Backup & Disaster Recovery

  • Configure and monitor enterprise backup solutions (Veeam, Commvault, etc.).
  • Test disaster recovery plans to ensure rapid recovery in case of system failure.

Automation & Optimization

  • Develop and maintain scripts for infrastructure automation (PowerShell, Bash, Python).
  • Continuously improve infrastructure efficiency, cost, and performance.

Documentation & Collaboration

  • Maintain detailed infrastructure documentation, configurations, and diagrams.
  • Collaborate with IT security, application teams, and vendors on infrastructure projects.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 4–7 years of experience in IT infrastructure or systems administration.
  • Expert in Windows/Linux server administration, and networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN).
  • Experience with enterprise storage solutions, load balancers, and firewall management.
  • Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Knowledge of virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V)
  • Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and documentation skills.
  • ITIL certification or equivalent knowledge of IT service management.
