We are seeking a dynamic and client-focused
Relationship Manager – Life Insurance
to join our Insurance Broking division. The candidate will be responsible for understanding client needs, offering the right life insurance solutions from multiple insurers, ensuring high service standards, and building long-term relationships that drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand client requirements and recommend the most suitable
life insurance plans
across various partner insurers. - Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with new and existing clients.
- Generate leads through networking, referrals, and client engagement activities.
- Explain product features, benefits, and policy terms clearly to clients.
- Coordinate with multiple life insurance companies for quotes, proposals, underwriting, issuance, and servicing.
- Ensure complete and accurate documentation for policy issuance and renewals.
- Assist clients with claims support by coordinating with insurers and internal teams.
- Meet monthly sales targets while maintaining compliance with IRDAI and company guidelines.
- Stay updated on new life insurance products, market trends, and regulatory changes.
- Maintain MIS, customer records, and regular reporting to management.
Requirements
- Minimum 2–4 years of experience
in selling
life insurance products
, preferably in an insurance broking setup (agency/bancassurance/corporate broking experience also acceptable). - Sound understanding of life insurance plans such as Term, ULIP, Endowment, Child Plans, Pension, and Group Life products.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and client-handling skills.
- Ability to provide unbiased advice in line with broking guidelines.
- Graduate in any discipline (candidates with IRDAI certification preferred).
- Self-motivated, target-oriented, with a customer-centric approach.
