Reports To: Store Supervisor / Store Manager

Job Summary:

The Barista is responsible for creating high-quality coffee beverages and providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced, branded café environment. This role focuses on delivering the company's signature coffee experience by maintaining beverage quality, store cleanliness, and a welcoming atmosphere that reflects the brand's values.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Greet customers warmly, take orders accurately, and process payments using the POS system.
  • Prepare and serve coffee, tea, and specialty beverages according to company recipes and presentation standards.
  • Maintain consistency in taste, temperature, and presentation of all drinks.
  • Educate customers on menu offerings, promotions, and coffee knowledge when appropriate.
  • Ensure cleanliness and organization of the work area, including espresso machines, counters, tables, and equipment.
  • Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation guidelines at all times.
  • Assist in restocking ingredients, packaging, and store supplies as needed.
  • Handle customer inquiries and resolve complaints courteously and efficiently.
  • Support daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures.
  • Uphold the company's brand image through professional behavior, grooming, and excellent service.

Qualifications:

  • At least High School Graduate; college level or graduate preferred.
  • Previous barista or food service experience in a branded or specialty coffee shop is an advantage.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Passionate about coffee and customer service.
  • Able to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Basic knowledge of coffee brewing methods, espresso preparation, and latte art is a plus.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand for extended periods (up to 8 hours per shift).
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs. (about 11 kg).
  • Manual dexterity to operate coffee machines and other equipment safely.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹49, ₹52,000.00 per month
