What You'll Do At Egen, we build what matters — intelligent Data, AI, and App solutions that help businesses move faster, scale smarter, and innovate confidently We're looking for a Google Cloud-focused Solution Engineer / Solution Architect who thrives at the intersection of technology, business, and impact You'll collaborate closely with our US Sales, Delivery, and Marketing teams to design solutions that combine data engineering, AI/ML, and application modernization. You'll shape proposals, estimate efforts, and bring ideas to life — transforming client challenges into practical, scalable, GCP-powered outcomes This role is ideal for someone who is either:
A Pre-Sales Solution Engineer who loves architecting and storytelling around client challenges, or A Delivery Architect with deep, hands-on GCP experience, eager to expand into solutioning and pre-sales strategy
Either way, you'll play a pivotal role in how Egen positions and delivers value to clients
A Day in the Life Solution Design: Lead client discovery sessions to understand goals and constraints; design tailored, cloud-native solutions aligned with business needs Product Demonstrations: Deliver engaging demos, workshops, and walkthroughs showcasing the impact of GCP-powered solutions in Data, AI/ML, and Agentic domains Proposal Development: Collaborate with Sales and Delivery teams to create proposals, LOEs, and SOWs — including solution architectures, timelines, and commercial models Technical Validation: Advise clients on best practices, integration strategies, and deployment patterns across the GCP ecosystem Support the Sales Cycle: Assist in RFP/RFI responses, crafting solution narratives, and participating in client presentations Stakeholder Management: Build trust with technical and business stakeholders, managing queries and expectations throughout the sales journey Collaboration & Delivery Mobilization: Partner with delivery teams to ensure smooth handoffs, shared success criteria, and alignment on client outcomes Industry Expertise & Thought Leadership: Stay current with GCP advancements, market trends, and competitive landscapes. Represent Egen in client forums, webinars, and solution showcases Innovation: Contribute to internal solution accelerators, prototypes, and reference architectures for repeatable success
What You Bring 7 years of experience in Solution Engineering, Pre-Sales, or Solution Architecture roles. Strong, hands-on expertise in the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and its ecosystem — particularly for Data, AI/ML, and App Modernization. Proven experience designing or supporting Data Engineering, Analytics, or Generative AI initiatives. Demonstrated ability to develop technical proposals, architecture diagrams, LOEs, and SOWs for complex engagements. Excellent presentation, communication, and storytelling skills — able to engage both technical and business audiences. Collaborative mindset with experience working across Sales, Delivery, and Product teams in global setups. Strong problem-solving skills — able to break down complex requirements into actionable and scalable solutions. Familiarity with programming languages (Java/Python) and frontend frameworks ). Exposure to CI/CD and DevOps concepts. Self-starter attitude — curious, adaptable, and comfortable balancing detail with big-picture thinking. Nice to Have Exposure to Multi-cloud environments (AWS or Azure). Experience working with US-based clients or distributed teams. GCP Certifications (preferred).
